Hi,

I think that, rather than being stupid, 90% of the population simply has
different things on their minds than morality / ethics / truth / etc. Most
people want to be TOLD what to do and how to behave -- and this is the role
religion plays for them.

To a certain extent, you could argue that religion is the cause and not the
fix for this behaviour, but either way, a certain percentage of people
simply ain't interested in philosophy. Virus may never appeal to such
people, but then, they are the "unwashed masses". I think virus should
embrace it's elitest leanings.

(If other religions want 'em, let 'em have 'em!)
