I dont think you mean thought without boundries as in limitless thought -
I'm not sure, but I dont think it is possible to have thought without
boundries, for lots of reasons. I will admit that dreams are the closest
you can come. But even dreams are hammered together from fragments of
experience, emotions etc..

As a avid dreamer (in that I dream every night and enjoy pondering them
the next day), I have often had dreams that were beyond proper description,
even to myself. I have dreamt entire songs and stories, devices and places,
times and people - but I never remember seeing anything that I would
consider totally outside of my history or experience. Basically, the tools
my mind has to play with itself seem to be varied enough to create a
seemingly infinite and pliable alter-universe - but my mind is also limited
by these tools.
