That could easily effect the rate of absorption--I don't know, I've only
ever used the sublingual myself. It works best taken when you're already
planning on going to bed and I've noticed that it doesn't work too well if
it's fighting against the effects of a stimulant like caffine or goto kola.
(Or possibly, adrenalin...?)

And, hey, if all else fails, up the dose! :-)
