Well, I have to admit that after looking at that page it is dificult for me to not look
at all of Christianity in that light - and that would be an error on my part or anyone
elses. Despite my intense distaste for religion and Christianity in particular - I know
that this viewpoint is not what most of my Christian friends would support. Which gives
me an idea - It seems that with extremists like this, it should not be too hard to drive
a wedge between the "common Christian" and the "psycho Christian"- while attempting to be
appear non-partisan.

As for the murder thing - Yes, I think it is contridictory - but God fearers tend to
differentiate between "murder of passion" and "murder for god" as two different things.
here is an example:

I work with an older Catholic (64 yrs old) named Dave. Dave is intelligent and
politically saavy and him and I often engage in lively conversation. When discussing
Slepian, Dave said
Dave: "Where did the killers ever get the idea that murder is alright?"
Me: "Because the Bible repeatedly tells them that it is"
Dave: Thats Bullshit, the Bible NEVER condons murder"

Of course the argument is over at this stage - To David - Divine murder is not murder,
and a murder in the name of God that he agrees with, is not really murder. Murder is when
someone kills someone you like, and executing is what happens to people you dont like.
Pretty obvious I suppose.
