The guy that first wrote this was talking through his hat!
In Britain we see the candy cane thing as an American thing invented
by Sweet manufacturers to get more money. In manchester I have never
seen candy canes on sale, and I have yet to see them in Europe, but
hey, if anyone knows a supplier to Britain I'II have some (the
stabbing people thing sounds fun).
Maybe they are curved so they can be hung on xmas trees, just a thought.
