i dont see why you need to understand consciousness to recreate something
similar (although it certainly helps). The power of the computer is not all that
important - its all architecture. Also, we are not attempting to re-create a
human consciousness, we are trying to create the conditions in which we know
consciousness works - a neural network. Also - you basic arguments arent
rational.

We dont understand a lot about electons either, but we can make em do a lot of
tricks.
