There has been quite a bit of discussion of the Levels on this list, which you can search from the CoV home page. Simply, Level 1 refers to unconscious living. Level 2 refers to living according to a particular model, and Level 3 refers to a higher level of consciousness in which multiple conflicting models are held simultaneously.
