I'm not sure I follow??? It is certainly conceivable that the situation is their "fault", if you will (e.g. perhaps the person is poly but didn't tell you; i.e. a breakdown in communications on their part).

Perhaps you should clarify what you said, as I really have no idea what your comment was directed at.
