Science does not claim that reality exists, it merely goes about
exploring circumstances and making predictions about them. Science does
not claim that we are conscious; the question doesn't come up outside
psychology, and that branch hasn't defined "consciousness" very well (at
least so far). Science does not address whether or not we are capable of
learning about reality since it makes no claims about reality, only about
verifiable circumstances within reality.
I think you have deceived yourself; but then, I might be mistaken, since
Science makes no claims about deception! (VBG!)
