Not only the english literary Lucifer, but the Christian tradition Lucifer
as well. You can maintain that this does not make Lucifer Satan because
that connection is not explicitly stated in the Bible, but I don't think
you want to go there. ;-) It's important to remember that christianity is
not based *only* on the Bible, but also two thousand years of thought (give
or take 36), writing, and speculation. In this, Lucifer is the same as Satan.
