The tribesman is right. Glass is a rock (solid) that is in reality water
(a liquid). But slow moving water, too be sure.

You seem to be infected with the same brand of MAIDS as Nateman, Tad.
Tell me, how in your ratoinal mind does "Let me sleep with you wife"
possibly follow from "Life is full of paradoxes"?
