So... to restate (so I can see if I've got it right) you're saying:

#2 (the claim that unknowables exist that we can never have knowledge of)
can never be confirmed or denied. Level-3 is such an unknowable. It
would be a #1 (an unknowable that is yet to be discovered by the
population at large) if not for its claim to "flexiblity".
