Me too. But here's something to think about: energy
distribution is non-uniform, for reasons that are the
subject of debate among cosmologists. I guess
maybe the patterns all derive from that
non-uniformity. Well, in a trivial sense, everything
does, as we are living during a period of non-maximal
entropy. But I mean, ultimately, maybe, all patterns
are patterns *of* energy distribution, and if it was
uniform, there would be none.

Does that make any sense at all? :-)
