Just what position is Al in, BTW? The law, which those nasty old
Republicans are using was meant to keep a boss in the Federal
Government from shaking down his poor old employees--if you don't
give me money, you probably won't have a job because I'll fire you for
something else or make your life so miserable you'll quit. So the law
says one should not make a call or accept money in a government
office--that was the intent of the law. Orin Hatch admitted he walks
out of his office onto the street and receives the money, that they
have a separate office set up at Congress from which they can legally
call fatcats for funds, and if they "receive" a call from a fatcat
donor--well, that is a different thing. Oh ye generation of vipers
and hypocrits! The Republicans outspent the Democrats fantastically
and THEY did not get their money from cake walks. So all of a sudden
we are supposed to think those bad old democrats are immoral and the
money the republicans get is pristine and pure --first amendment
rights--freedom of speech---the more money you have the more freedom
of speech you deserve! Now if they could just get their hands on the
internet ....
I believe the American people will see it for what it
is--politics as usual. How many millions are they going to waste on this one Nateman? I'm
listening.....Cathy
