Yeah, yeah, yeah...  I also think so, but what are we doing?  Just talking
about it...  I'm sure 99% of people are in favour of the public school
system.  What can we DO?  Sorry, Nateman, I am impressed with your
philosophy of life, and I am  mostly blaming myself for not doing anything.
Do you have some ideas what can be done to change the situation?  I am also
curious to find out who on this list would support it?

If I had the answer to that I'd do it. However in the meanwhile all I can think of doing is giving some of the victims of public education a REAL education. Philosophical movement is like a glacier: Slow but sure, grinding down what's  beneath it. I wonder if it's even possible to do more than plant the seed and hope it takes root. But the root even if it takes hold , like a tree it , takes a long time to grow. One sometimes fights the fight not  because one knows if one's going to win or not but because the fight is worth fighting. Ayn Rand is proof that one person can make a difference. Our best bet perhaps would be to finish our books!
