I don't know what language you are speaking, Brett, but it certainly is not
that of linear algebra. Here is a case where you simply cannot redefine
words to mean what you want -- the words are *already* defined, and the
definition is *closed*.

As to setting the null to one -- that's crazy?!? Null, void, empty, zero
-- this is what these words have always meant!

Please, go read a linear algebra text book -- it might just be something
you'd be interested in!
