Will D'Artagnan join the noble three to usurp the power of the clerics
everywhere?
Meaning is always a conjectural proposition. Should we prefer not to
conjecture, facts are usually available in this age of observation and
science which offer causes. That our lives are enriched for knowing the
truth of these causes is meaningful, but if David's ultimate meaning
lies, as he says, off in some infinite future, then it goes beyond
conjecture, and approaches the mystic, even the divine, if he thinks
there is a path there.
I prefer the seaport, where I learned the meaning of 'grog'.
