Your statement that children might have to listen to teachers such that
they (the children) might be placed in a position that they (the
children) might find themselves doing what the teacher says without
being able to comprehend the adult "reasons" for doing this assumes
somehow an attitude of blind submission is-- somehow-- what is good for
the child, and makes your statement (below) incongruous. You
obviously-- on some level-- think that "teachers" know something about
what is good for children that the children do not have the ability to
understand.

Brett, I've believed that children, in general, have things
they can teach adults, in general, due to their not yet
having been fucked-up by their upbringing, for many, many
years -- maybe, I suspect, even longer than you've been
alive.
