Re: virus: posting etiquette

As I use webtv, and since webtv has no copy/cut/paste option, I must
either include the entire post to which I am responding or none of the
original post. Therefore, I hope it is understood that when I include
the post I think that it is necessary that it be included. I hope that
the ability of my computer not to include snipped quotes from another
post will not be used against me to make me somehow appear impolite.

I think it is a "bandwith" waste to inform people of "posting
etiquette"-- and assume that there is a personal preference being
expressed here that is merely being framed in an "ettiquete" light to
minimize the personal element and maximize the potential that people
might comply with this personal desire through using group conformity
tecniques and "fear" of group sanction for appearing dis-courtious.

Again, I appologize for appearing discourtious to some... though I am
quite sure that bandwith is not a problem for any of us here.
