I dont understand why we should be sceptical - I would be sceptical the
other way though. It seems to me very obvious that intelligent machines
are not too far down the road. And if they are intelligent that they can
be almost anything. As for spirituality - thats just knowing what it
takes to deliver pleasure drugs to the brain. I'm sure an intelligent
machine will have some way of rewarding itself for the actions it likes
(or the other way around)
