IMHO the answer to the first question is yes.
The second question is, I think, a key to measuring how successful Virus
could be. Assuming that part of its mission is to come up with these
anti-ecocide memes and infect the human population with them, we have to
come up with what those memes are. Partly I think this is being decided in
our current debates. Partly I think it has already been decided,
implicitly, in accepting basic ideals of environmentally friendly
lifestyles and the like.
