This happens frequently. Consider what happens when the
same meme is born in persons A and B. It must really be a
synthesis of other memes already in those persons. That is not to
say A and B had identical memes before it's birth, there is more
than one way to biuld a the same meme. This process of
"reinventing the wheel" requires no interperson comunication at
all.
