This was one of the many subplots from Carl Sagan's Book, "Contact" that
didn't make it into the movie. The books ends on that note. Excellent book.
Also best book-to-movie I have seen. Probably because Sagan and Druyan had
such a big hand in it. I hope Santa thinks I am good enough to get it for
Christmas. ::::wringing my hands and squinting my eyes in intense prayer::::
