[1] I can hardly believe that attempting to kill yourself is a criminal
offence in Canada --
And just south of ya'll, in my state, we just executed a convicted murderer
who had *requested* the death penalty for himself and repeatedly told the
judge and reporters that he wanted to die.
No news yet as to whether the State of Washington will be charged with
"aiding in a felony" for its role in his assisted suicide.
